Mpw Compiled List Of 200 Employees Prone For Retirement
The Ministry of Public Works has compiled a list of about 200 employees who have spent 30 years in service and will be referred for retirement, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The daily quoting sources said the ministry has addressed the Public Institute for Social Security to confirm the period of service for the employees expected to be covered by the decision, and is believed to be awaiting its response, to implement the decision in accordance with the regulations of the Civil Service Commission.
The sources also ruled out the possibility of disbursing ‘excellent work’ rewards with the August salary because the salary for August has already been deposited in the banks and also because at the moment work is underway to complete the assessments of employees.
Moreover, the ministry is also busy to complete some procedures in coordination with the Public Authority for Roads and Transport to put in place urgent solutions to cope with the coming winter rains.
The daily said the two sides have started procedures for the construction of a dam south of the Al-Sabah area under the supervision of a global advisory body. In a related context, the ministry said on its social media account that since March 18, 2019, it began laying asphalt on a number of inland roads and highways including from the King Fahd Road to Kuwait City and the exit of Ghazali on the Sixth Ring Road towards Jahra, as well as Saqr Al NasafiStreet, which extends between Mohammed bin Al-Qasim and Ardhiya Industrial Area, and a number of streets and roads and the work is expected to be completed before the end of this year.
