Mosques Are Permitted To Host Iiftar Banquets During Ramadan

Ramadan iftar banquets are now allowed in mosques due to a decision by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

The mosque will, however, follow control measures, such as requiring those wishing to hold iftar banquets to receive official permission. The iftar banquets are to take place in the mosque's courtyard.

Under the supervision of the imam of the mosque, those managing the iftar project are responsible for organizing iftar banquets.

Within the mosque boundaries, tents for Ramadan are not permitted.
