Mosa Call To Coordinate Efforts In Protecting Rights Of Expats

Ministry of Social Affairs Undersecretary Saad Al-Kharaz has called on governmental and private institutions concerned with human rights to coordinate their efforts in affirming the role of Kuwait in protecting the rights of expatriates, while praising the role of expatriates in the development of the country in all fields, reports Al-Rai daily.

During his meeting with Deputy Director General of the Manpower Protection Sector Abdullah Al-Motawtah and representatives of several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) recently, Al-Kharaz stressed the significance of NGOs, ministries and sectors concerned with human rights in highlighting the country’s role and efforts in protecting the rights of all workers; in addition to spreading public awareness on such rights.

He asserted that the country is keen on implementing laws and decisions which regulate relations between employers and employees, urging NGOs concerned with human rights to monitor violations against expatriates.
