Moi Reveals 2.8 Million Residency Visa Transactions Completed Since Launch Of Online Service

The General Administration of Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced today, Wednesday, that 2,819,996 transactions have been completed related to the issuance of residency visas through the online service https://www.moi.gov.kw  since its launch, Al Rai daily reported. The total number of appointments made on the platform for transactions reached 1,063,854, Al Rai daily.

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media at the ministry stated in a press statement that the Ministry of Interior (MoI) continues to receive visitors who wish to complete their transactions through the ministry’s website.

This is due to the current conditions that the country is going through in the face of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) spread, and the enforcement of health requirements in the interest of the health of citizens and expats.  It indicated that all transactions of the security establishment sectors are carried out according to this online mechanism to save time, and effort, while upholding social distancing in service departments to limit contact, and curtail the coronavirus spread.
