The Misdemeanor Court chaired by Judge Mut’eb Al-Ardhi has adjourned Ministry of Interior’s hospitality case to Oct 6, while the court rejected the bail application for the suspects, which means they will remain in detention until the next session.

The session is to continue hearing submissions from the ministry’s expert accountants. The last session was the seventh in the celebrated case no. 56/2018 concerning public fund.

It involves 24 officials from the Ministries of Interior and Finance who were charged with forgery, dereliction of duty, misappropriation of public funds and money laundering. The defense counsels were present at the session making frantic efforts to get bail for their clients
