Moi Has Signed A Letter To Approve The Revocation Of 13 Persons Citizenship

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al- Jarrah Al-Sabah has signed a letter to approve the revocation of the Kuwaiti citizenship of 13 individuals, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources.

They revealed that the letter has been referred to the Cabinet, indicating that the 13 individuals are from one family that originally came from Syria. The sources said the 13 former Syrian nationals were registered under a Kuwaiti citizen who has been referred for interrogations, adding that legal actions will be taken against the latter. Meanwhile, a source said efforts exerted by the Department of Citizenship and Travel Documents succeeded in discovering 40 individuals who are accused of obtaining Kuwaiti citizenship fraudulently.

The source affirmed that they all have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. In an unrelated development, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh affirmed the non-existence of any penetration into the bank networks and systems or any material losses recorded in the banks, reports Al-Anba daily. He denied the rumors circulating on social media and mass media concerning the hacking of banking systems and networks.
