MOI Denies Arrest Of An Expat Who Setup Checkpoint For Face Mask Violation

The Ministry of Interior denied the arrest of an expat of an Arab nationality who wore the ministry’s military uniform and had set up a checkpoint who was checking Kuwaitis and expats for not wearing masks. MOI has termed it as fake news.

The Ministry of Interior will take all necessary legal measures against this social media account that promoted the news, as it is a crime to spread fake news according to the Communications Law, and all legal measures will be taken.
