Moi Arrested 15 People, Including Children, For Begging

Authorities apprehended 15 adults who were begging in various locations across the country with their children.

According to the Ministry of Interior's General Department of Relations and Security Media, the General Department of Residency Affairs' security follow-up detained 15 persons for begging, including Jordanians, Syrians, and Sri Lankans, as well as their children.

Legal action has been taken against them, and a case of negligence has been filed against the minor's care. Their sponsors were summoned to take legal action against them, and they were referred to the appropriate authorities.

The government stated that the Ministry of Interior is doing all possible to prevent the phenomenon of begging, and urged the public to report such conduct by dialing 112.
