Moh: We Are Following The Development Of The Spread Of The New Strain Of Corona Virus

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh and Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah inspected today, Saturday, the Kuwait International Airport building to determine the regulatory and health measures after the resumption of air traffic in the country.

In this regard, Al-Saleh said that the cabinet’s decision to open the air, land and sea ports came after reviewing the health reports on the developments of the emerging and mutating Corona virus.

Al-Saleh affirmed that His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, is keen to facilitate procedures for the return of citizens from abroad, and directed all Kuwaiti diplomatic missions to harness the capabilities to serve citizens during the period of closure of the ports.

He called on citizens to register on the Ministry of Health platform to obtain the new Corona virus vaccine, stressing that obtaining the vaccine is available to all citizens free of charge, according to the vaccination stages for the announced groups.

For his part, Sheikh Basil Al-Sabah said in a similar statement to (KUNA) that the Ministry of Health has made all necessary preparations to receive passengers coming to the country.

He stressed that the ministry is following the development of the spread of the new strain of Corona virus and will take measures to limit the spread of the virus inside the country, calling on citizens to limit travel and limit it to necessary cases. During their tour, the two ministers praised the efforts made by those in charge of Kuwait International Airport, including employees of the Ministry of Interior, the General Administration of Civil Aviation, the General Administration of Customs, and the medical personnel of the Ministry of Health in serving citizens, facilitating access procedures and ensuring the highest levels of health safety for them and their families, and the application of health requirements in a way that maintains safety Society too.
