Moh Requests Finance To Approve Hire Of Expat Employees On Wage Basis
The financial privileges and new cadres for the ministries of Health and Education, once approved, will be paid through the strategic alternative for salary scale, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
Sources said these cadres and financial privileges will be allocated for Faculty of Public Health graduates working at the Ministry of Health, and for social workers and psychologists at the Ministry of Education.
Sources pointed out that only the employees at the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP) will receive financial privileges allocated for MGRP until the latter and Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) are merged.
Sources added the same financial privileges will be given to employees in the two institutions after the merger. Sources said the financial privileges for some public institutions are approved according to regulations, indicating that no new conditions were added to regulations except commitment to the fingerprints attendance system. Furthermore the total amount allocated for granting wages to the employees who are employed on wage basis is KD 8.75 million for the 2018/2019 fiscal year, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to official correspondences, Ministry of Health has asked Ministry of Finance to approve the employment of expatriates on wage basis during the current fiscal year.
Meanwhile, sources said Parliament’s Replacement (Kuwaitization) Committee, earlier in June, addressed Civil Services Commission (CSC) concerning information that were being circulated about the amendment of conditions for employing expatriate doctors, pharmacists, assistant medical staff and nurses with “Good” qualification degree instead of “Very Good”.
According to official correspondences, the salary of premium expatriate pharmacist is KD 855, assistant nurse is KD 570, laboratory technician is KD 769 and fresher X-ray technician is KD 501.
