Moh Is Completing Its Preparations To Implement The New Travel Procedures, Starting From The August 1st
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced the completion of the ministry’s preparations regarding the new procedures related to travel or that will be applied to those coming to the country as of the first of next August.
Al-Sanad confirmed to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the ministry continues to coordinate with the concerned authorities, noting that the efforts of the technical committees in the concerned sectors of the ministry have been continuous since the cabinet’s decision was issued on June 17 last in order to develop recommendations and relevant instructions and study them and coordinate on mechanisms Implementing it with other state agencies in a way that preserves the health security of the country.
He explained that, in preparation for the entry into force of the new procedures, the ministry took the initiative to form the technical committee to audit the certificates of those vaccinated outside the country, which began performing its tasks assigned to it some time ago, as it specializes in approving and auditing the certificates of vaccinators abroad with approved vaccines in Kuwait.
Dr. Al-Sanad indicated that those coming to the country must upload their vaccination certificates on the ministry’s website and wait for information in this regard, indicating that it is also required to prove receiving the vaccine upon arrival through the QR-Code feature.
He praised the high-level cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities regarding the health procedures that the incoming must take before arriving in the country, which requires that he have a negative “PCR” examination certificate proving that he is free of the “Corona” virus, provided that it is valid “72 hours” and does not appear. Any symptoms on it such as high temperature, sneezing, cold, cough and others.
