Moh Gets Approval Of Capt To Buy Medical Consumables

The Ministry of Health has recently obtained the approval of the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) to buy medical consumables for insulin pumps for diabetic patients in public hospitals worth up to 1.250 million dinars.

The sources told Al-Qabas that these pumps work to adjust insulin doses, and help maintain high blood sugar levels automatically, and at the same time help to protect the patients in the event of low blood sugar levels, which may occur suddenly.

On the other hand, the sources indicated that the Ministry has obtained the approval of the concerned authority to supply an industrial medical substance which is used to stop bleeding, at a cost of up to 337 thousand dinars, indicating that the Ministry will not hesitate to import the latest medical devices and supplies to all specialized centers and hospitals, with the aim of developing the level of health care provided to all patients.
