Moh Confirms 168 New Coronavirus Cases And 2 Death Today - Total Cases To 2248

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Saturday reported 168 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections and two more death in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 2248 and total deaths to 13 patients.

In a statement, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 50 patients were in intensive care 21 of them are in critical condition and 29 stable.

He added that the death cases reached 13 after confirming the death of a 75 year old Indian resident and another 57 year old Indian.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 1,792 patients said the spokesperson.

Today's reported case includes 15 Kuwaiti national, 80 Indian, 10 Bangladeshi, 21 Egyptian, 7 Pakistani, 5 Nepali, 3 Philippine, 2 Sri Lankan, 2 Jordanian and 4 Syrian resident.

Earlier, the ministry announced the recovery of 31 new patients.
