Hamad Al-Masha'an, Assistant Foreign Minister for Development and International Cooperation Minister Plenipotentiary, stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working with UN Security Council member states to remove Kuwaiti residents' names from the list of "international terrorists."
According to a local Arabic daily, Al-Masha'an praised the existing coordination and cooperation with the Security Council for the success of the ministry's efforts in removing Kuwaiti names from the terrorist list, particularly those efforts in developing a road map that guides all parties to achieve that goal as soon as possible.
