According to aljarida The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education approved Dr. Saud Al-Harbi decided to postpone the retirement of those whose service reached 34 years of age until December 31, when they were to be referred as of the beginning of the same month.
Educational sources told that the decision to postpone the referral to the end of December came in consideration of the administrators, who will lose a set of financial dues, including the excellent business bonuses for the year 2020, if they are referred before the end of the current year.
The sources added that the Ministry is about to inform them of the referral decisions formally, by signing an acknowledgment of knowledge, and receiving a copy of the referral decision, pointing out that the statements include a group of expatriates whose services will be terminated for the same reason, which is reaching the legal age and completing 34 years of service.
They indicated that some retired people began submitting applications for resignation and retirement pension referral as a preemptive measure to avoid compulsory assignment, although the procedure will not constitute any change in their legal status or financial entitlements.

The sources told that the bulletins issued by one of the educational districts that talk about considering an employee who has been absent from work without providing an excuse for his workplace for more than two weeks resigning, by virtue of the law, are applied to employees inside the country, pointing out that the situation of stuck teachers differs, because they are They were unable to enter the country for compelling reasons beyond their control, while those inside the country are legally obligated to submit their excuses to their workplace, which in turn applies the law and regulations to them.
