Moe Needs 670 Male And Female Teachers To Cover Shortfall

The Ministry of Education needs 670 male and female teachers for the next academic year – 2019/2020 – to cover shortfalls in nine specializations, especially since new schools will be opened by then, reports Al- Qabas daily quoting sources.

Sources disclosed the required specializations include English, French, Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geology and Physical Education.

The Coordination and Followup Department at the Public Education Sector specified the subjects and number of teachers needed. Sources said the Administrative Sector has been contacted officially to advertise the vacancies locally and externally. This will begin with the collection of applications from qualified expatriate applicants as prelude to interview and contract signing procedures.
