The Ministry of Education (MOE) closed the buildings of three schools due to maintenance, demolition, and reconstruction work, Al Anbaa daily reported. The students of these schools were distributed to the neighboring schools.

This came in decisions issued by the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Al-Maqsid. Al-Maqsid issued a decision to close Nasser Saud Al-Sabah Primary School for Boys, located in the Salmiya area, Block 12, and to transfer its students to Ali bin Abi Talib Primary School for Boys, located in the Shaab area, Block 6.

He also issued a decision to close the school building of the Abu Hudhaifa bin Utbah Primary School for Boys with teachers belonging to the Ahmadi Educational District and said in his decision that it was based on the letter of the General Administration of the Ahmadi Educational Zone regarding the condition of the school building.

The school building of Abu Hudhaifa bin Utbah Primary School for Boys located in the back area, Block 4 (Ahmadi Educational District), starting from the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year will also be closed due to safety concerns.

The administration undertakes the implementation of the transportation and distribution mechanism for students and the educational and administrative bodies.
