Ministry Of Interior Announcement

Road-Reroute Plan for Sunday 30th September 2018 in preparation for H.H. Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to H.H The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

The reroute plan shall be put I effect starting 11:00 AM (KWT) as follows:

1- Riyadh Road (Airport) coming in from Kuwait City toward 5th ring road junction with Riyadh Road. Reroute towards Jahra only.

Airport Roundabout heading towards King Faisal Road, Cargo Area, and Road 55. (Complete shutdown)

2- Fifth Ring Road: from junction with King Faisal road (Road 50) towards Salmiya. All turns leading to Airport are closed, whilst turns towards Kuwait City are opened.

Damascus Street leafing to 5th ring road is closed, reroute to South Surra & back to 4th ring road

Fifth ring road from Bidaa towards Jahra, closed entirely. Rerouted to Fahaheel Road (both to Kuwait City & Ahmadi)

Fahaheel Road (RD30)
Jahra Road (RD80)
1st Ring Road
2nd Ring Road
3rd Ring Road
4th Ring Road

Ibraheem Al Muzayen RD

IMPORTANT: 

For passengers heading to the airport, use Road 60 (Ghazali Road) towards airport (through cargo area).

Any other changes shall be announced through the various media channels of Ministry of Interior within the state of Kuwait.

Compliance with traffic officers is needed to make the plan run as smoother as possible.
