Ministry Of Health Takes Action In The Private Sector

The Under Secretary of the Ministry of Health for the National Labor Sector, Fatima Al-Najjar, issued a circular to update the work procedures in the sector, in preparation for the gradual return to work and in line with the update of the work procedures in the facilities of the Ministry of Health.

The circular included the continuation of emergency surgeries, permitting all optional surgical procedures performed under local anesthesia, provided that they are not among the surgeries that require changing the procedure to general anesthesia and that they do not require reservation or blood transfusion, with the exception of local liposuction, it is not allowed in This stage.

The circular also included permitting therapeutic or cosmetic (non-surgical) procedures, endoscopes, interventional radiology and therapeutic needles in the joints, in addition to postponing all surgical procedures to be performed under general anesthesia or requiring blood transfusion to other notice
