Ministry Has Referred 39 Board Members Of Some Cooperative Societies In Connection Of Financial Scam

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has referred 39 boards members of some cooperative societies to the General Investigation Department of the Ministry of Interior and to the Public Prosecution in connection of financial and administrative irregularities which were discovered by the committees which were formed by the Ministry to review the work and accounts of their cooperatives, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Assistant Undersecretary for Cooperative Affairs at the Ministry, Sheikha Al-Adwani said the ministry has referred 29 members to the Investigations Committee of the Interior Ministry and 10 members of the Board of Saad Al-Abdullah Cooperative Society to the Public Prosecution.
