Mew To Sack Expats In 30 Years Service

The Ministry of Electricity and Water announced its plan to terminate the services of expatriate employees who served for 30 years and more, stressing that all nationalities are covered in this decision without any exception.

He affirmed that the ministry will conduct a reshuffle process among all directors and heads of departments in the coming phase, clarifying that assistant undersecretaries will not be included this time.

The source revealed that integration of any sectors of the ministry will not occur in the current phase, and it will be dealt with later after the completion of the organizational structure in order to transform some sectors of the ministry into authorities under governmental administration and privatize some other sectors.

Undersecretary of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Saad Al-Kharaz affirmed his keenness to serve Kuwait, expressing appreciation for the decision taken by the Cabinet and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh to appoint him in the new position as a successor to the resigned undersecretary Dr Matar Al-Mutairi.

Speaking to the daily, Al-Kharaz commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the former undersecretary Dr Al-Mutairi during his tenure.
