The adoption of the Key Performance Indicators system (KPIs) is to monitor the performance of senior officials and supervisors while implementing the yearly operational plan and base the evaluation reports on that performance, according to Minister of Public Works M. Ali Al-Mousa.

The newspaper has received a copy of the decision, which requires all sectors and organizational units to produce a specific yearly operational plan for the implementation of what is relevant to the Ministry's strategic plan 2035 and to establish their major measuring indicators.

According to ministry sources, the goal of the decision is to track and measure the performance of senior officials in the ministry, as well as to determine the degree of execution of plans and other development initiatives and accelerate progress.

According to the sources, the step also aims to ensure the accurate implementation of infrastructure projects, respond to supervisory authority observations and citizen complaints, develop all budget and revenue-related matters, as well as qualifying employees and provide them with the necessary expertise to implement the annual operational plan.
