‘meta’ Builds Fastest Computer In The World

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has announced it is building a supercomputer that it believes will be the fastest in the world by the end of this year.

In a blog post, the company asserted that the supercomputer will benefit the company in the field of artificial intelligence by building models that can learn from trillions of examples, manipulating hundreds of languages, and analyzing text, images, and videos to determine whether the content is harmful, reports Al-Rai daily quoting Reuters.

“This will not only help secure the users of our services today but also in the future, as we are building for the complete virtual world (Metaverse),” said the source.

The term “Metaverse” or the complete virtual world, refers to the idea of enabling people to enter a virtual environment through different devices, through which they work, have fun and engage in social activities.
