Member Of The Ruling Family Was Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison In Libel Suit

A member of the ruling family was sentenced to 3 years in prison for defaming the Amir and discrediting State Minister Shaikh Mohammed Al-Abdulla and Shaikh Mubarak Al-Sabah.
The Court of Appeals upheld the verdict which was issued by the first instance court which handed down a 3-year jail term to Shaikh Abdulla Al-Salim Al-Sabah.
The convict was charged with posting defamatory video recordings on his Snapchat account.
