Many Arrested In Possession Of Drugs
An 18-year old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Mahboula area in possession of 11 “Larika” narcotic pills, crystal meth and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Mahboula area when they noticed a youth sleeping inside a vehicle. They woke him and checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti youth aged 18. Noticing his disoriented state, securitymen checked him to find the abovementioned drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department (DCGD) for necessary legal action.Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in Kabad area in possession of a sachet of methamphetamine. He has been referred to the DCGD for necessary legal action.
Furthermore, securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia in Riqqa area following a police chase. Security sources said securitymen were patrolling Riqqa area when they ordered a motorist to pull over based on suspicions. However, the suspect ignored the order and sped off, forcing securitymen to chase him. They eventually forced him to stop and checked his details to discover he is a 27-year old Kuwaiti citizen.
;They checked his vehicle and found a bag containing drugs including methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the DCGD for necessary legal action. In addition, a Kuwaiti man and a Kuwaiti woman were arrested in Salmiya area based on suspicions of consumption of liquor. Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya area when they noticed a vehicle parked in front of a restaurant with loud music coming from it and a couple sitting inside the vehicle. Securitymen checked their details to discover they are both Kuwaiti citizens. Detecting the smell of liquor from them, securitymen detained them for investigations.
