Manpower Shows Interest To Hire Locals In Hotel Sector

Deputy Director-General for National Manpower Affairs Sultan Al-Shaalani says the authority is keen to increase the percentage of Kuwaitis in the hotel sector.

He said the authority is determined to lure the Kuwaitis to work in this sector without compromising the interests of the hotel sector in Kuwait.

On the sidelines of a meeting with representatives of the Kuwaiti Hotel Owners Association, he said this will be done in line with the decision of “percentage of Kuwaitization”.

During a meeting members and Vice-President Faisal Al-Nisf of the Association, Al-Shaalani indicated the authority is working to identify the obstacles facing hotels in Kuwait in the area of appointing Kuwaitis, and will work to find solutions.
