Man Who Specialized In Stealing Cars In Custody
Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an unidentified person who specialized in stealing cars which are left in operation by unsuspecting victims, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the suspect then re-painted the cars and used them in committing crimes. The daily added, following the arrest police seized from the suspect two cars one of which carried the Saudi plate numbers.
The arrest came following complaints filed by the owners of the cars with the police stations, who admitted to leaving the cars in operation in front of shops and their homes in violation of the law.
The daily added, CID men then continued their investigations based on information provided by the victims such as the place of the theft and what brand cars the suspect targeted.
