Man Tricked While Trying To Sell Car Online

A Kuwaiti man from Jleeb wanted to sell his car and had put up an ad on social media.

The car was worth KD15,000. A man, also Kuwaiti national, agreed to buy the car for KD 12,000.

He gave the owner KD100 as deposit till the title transfer. The man told the police that the 'buyer' asked him to wait inside an office building, after the transfer, while he went and brought the money.

However, the seller says, the man did not show up and is not answering his calls.
