Maid Loses Sight After Employer's Attack

Saudi woman and her daughter assault the maid An Indonesian housemaid in Saudi Arabia lost her sight after she was hit on the head with a blunt object by her female employer, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

‘Sada’ quoted police as saying the Saudi woman and her daughter assaulted the maid after an argument on Tuesday, burned her and hit her on the head with a blunt object. It said the maid was admitted to hospital in the Northwestern town of Tabuk, suffering from skin burns, blindness and skull fractures because of the beating.
