Loan Installments Starting From October And No Instructions To Postpone Them Again

Arabic local newspaper Alrai reported that It indicated that “the only solution that could have motivated banks to postpone the installments is for the state to bear the cost of this decision, which is an unlikely decision due to the enormity of this cost, which amounted to about 380 million dinars over the 6-month period that ended last month.”

The sources pointed out “the government’s inability at the present time to bear additional expenditures, especially in light of the expansion of the deficit and the risks of declining levels of cash liquidity available for public spending, after reaching historically low levels, to the point with which it is almost depleted.”

The sources stated that “the banking trend is for banks to deduct their installments, starting from the salaries of this month, in traditional times for that.”
