Lebanon Received The First Medical Aid From Kuwait

According to Alqabas , Lebanon received the first aid from abroad, on Wednesday, a shipment of medical assistance provided by the State of Kuwait, which was transported by a plane belonging to the Kuwaiti Air Force.

“In the name of the Minister of Health, I thank the government and people of Kuwait for the humanitarian gesture, and this is not surprising for Kuwait, which stood beside Lebanon in all the adversities that it was exposed to, and Kuwait is always the first,” said adviser to the Lebanese Minister of Health, Dr. Hussein Muhaidli. He stressed the strength of what unites the Kuwaiti and Lebanese people,

hoping that the coming days will bear all the good for the two brotherly countries. For his part, the assistant to the command of Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base, Colonel Pilot Abdul Aziz Al-Loghani, said in a similar statement to “KUNA” that “Kuwaiti aid includes medical beds, wheelchairs, respirators, medicines, dressings and gags.” He expressed sadness over the “tragic accident that afflicted the sister Lebanon”, expressing his condolences to the Lebanese people. The aid was delivered on the grounds of the Rafic Hariri International Airport, in the presence of the counselor at the Kuwaiti embassy in Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Shaheen, the diplomatic attaché Seyhan Al-Sehan and Colonel Saud Al-Sabti from the military office, and the adviser to the Lebanese Minister of Health Muhaidly and a representative of the Lebanese army leadership.
