Lawyer Referred For Human Trafficking And Money Laundering

The Public Prosecution has referred an unidentified lawyer to the Criminal Court for human trafficking and money laundering, reports Al-Anba daily. An informed source stated the Criminal Court will look into the case next Thursday.

The source pointed out during the investigations by the Prosecution, the accused is accused of bringing more than 300 workers to work for a restaurant and parties organizing company and allegedly made more than 50,000 dinars.

The source pointed out the arrest of the suspect came after a large number of workers complained that the suspect did not fulfill his promises primarily of which is he did not give them housing, abandoned them in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area and failed to give them jobs or paid their salaries.
