Lawyer Filed Complaint Accusing Kuwaiti Woman Of Swindling Him

In what can be termed strange and funny, an unidentified lawyer has filed a complaint with the Nugra Police Station, accusing a young Kuwaiti woman of swindling him, reports Al-Anba daily.

In his complaint, the lawyer who is believed to be in his 40s, said he befriended the woman, met her several times and they talked to each other for long hours several times a day.

The lawyer said he fell in love with the girl, proposed to marry her and she accepted. The lawyer said the woman then requested for KD 30,000 which she promised to invest in business.

She also promised to return the money soon, even before they tied the knot. The lawyer then collected and borrowed some money from friend and gave it to the woman without taking anything in writing from her.

The complainant said he was shocked when the woman refused to answer his calls after receiving the money.

When she finally answered the call, she told him in plain words to forget about the idea of marriage and even denied receiving money from him.
