Labour Cities And Waste Treatment Projects Transferred To The Municipality

The meeting of the Higher Committee in the Public-Private Partnership Projects Authority concluded that the two projects of labor cities and municipal solid waste treatment and conversion into electrical energy were referred from the Partnership Authority to the Kuwait Municipality, Al-Rai daily reported.

The Supreme Committee sought to transfer the workers of the cities project to the Kuwait Municipality, given that none of the qualified coalitions submitted their technical and financial offers after the end of the bid extension period.

Concerning the waste diversion project, the sources indicated that the committee referred the project to the Kuwait Municipality after the investor submitted a letter of apology to the authority for not implementing the project, pointing out that Kuwait Municipality adheres to implementing this vital project, as there is an initial tendency to re-launch the project again.

Regarding the closing date of the practice of appointing a consultant for the Al-Dabdeba project, the sources said that the date for closing the practice has been set for September 7, and more than one competitor has submitted for this practice.
