Kuwait's Cabinet Says No Cases Of Monkeypox

On Tuesday, Kuwait's cabinet announced that the country had not seen any cases of monkeypox, a virulent illness more common in west and central Africa. The government said a number of precautions are already in place to prevent the illness from spreading.

A meeting was held by Health Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed to discuss the epidemic, which showed that monkeypox has spread to more countries than ever before.

Earlier this week, Kuwait's Health Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed said the country had taken steps to prevent monkeypox infections.

During an interview with Kuwait TV and KUNA, Minister Al-Saeed confirmed that no cases of monkeypox had been reported in Kuwait.
