Kuwaitization A Reality – Call For Gradual Replacement

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Fahd Al- Shula stated the ‘replacement policy’ should proceed according to a time plan, reports Al-Anba daily.

He described the policy as “wellthought out and systematic”, because it does not affect the work process in the ministries and state agencies. He added the job recruitment process in all government agencies must seek to adjust positions as applied in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and the Municipality to keep pace with the requirements of work.

He reiterated that expatriate workers will be replaced by Kuwaitis in line with a decision issued by Civil Service Commission (CSC), and that both ministries are committed to the policy and working vigorously to make it a reality.
