Kuwaitis Will Mark On Saturday The 60th Anniversary Of 3rd Defensive Walls Demolition

Kuwaitis will mark on Saturday the 60th anniversary of demolishing the country's third defensive wall which was built in 1920.
In the era of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah a decree was issued on February fourth, 1957 to demolish the wall which was built on a height of four meters and stretched for seven kilometers.
The wall originally had four gates but a fifth one was added later on. During #Kuwait's history, three defensive walls were constructed between 1760 till 1920
