Kuwaitis Urged Not To Visit Ethiopia Due To Protests

The Kuwaiti Embassy in Ethiopia has appealed to citizens not to travel to Addis Ababa now because of the developments of security situations there.

Kuwaiti Ambassador Rashed Al-Hajri advised, in a statement , Kuwaitis to avoid visiting Ethiopia now "under any circumstances".

He also urged Kuwaitis currently in Ethiopia either to leave the country immediately or to be vigilant and cautious for their safety.

The Ethiopian government declared a state of emergency on Sunday across the country for six months so as to restore stability. The country has been witnessing protests for several weeks, leading to the killing of scores of people.
