Kuwaitis Spent $16.5 Billion On Travelling In 1 Year

The amounts of money spent by Kuwaiti nationals on travelling soared by over 10 per cent in one year, according to figures released by the Central Bank of Kuwait. 

Kuwaitis travelling abroad spent $16.5 billion during the period from the fourth quarter of 2018 and the third quarter of 2019, reported Alqabas. 

The CBJ statistics showed that Kuwaitis spent $14.8 billion (BD4.49 billion) in 2018.

The balance of payment shows an increase of 37 per cent money spent on travelling abroad by 37% since 2016.
