Kuwaiti Youth Lost 16,000 Saudi Riyals In Madina Reached Destination Before Owner

11 June 2017 Crime News

Kuwaiti youth Zaid Al-Khabbaz lost 16,000 Saudi Riyals in Madina while performing the minor pilgrimage (Umrah) with his family in Saudi but the money reached Makkah in full before the owner, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Al-Khabbaz explained that his family went straight to Miqaat (the location where pilgrims change into ihram to get ready for the rites of the pilgrimage) upon reaching Madina. He dropped his cloth, wallet and envelope containing 16,000 Saudi Riyals to help an old man adjust his ihram, and eventually forgot the items.

To his surprise, he could not find the money and other items when it was time to pay the driver who transported them to Makkah. The driver then called his brother in Madina to look for the money but he only found other stuff. On the second day, he was surprised when officials of Miqaat Trust notified him they found the missing belongings and sent everything to him.
