Kuwaiti Woman Journalist Arrested In Libel Suit

Kuwaiti journalist Aisha Al-Rasheed is facing legal action for defaming leading personalities from the Amiri Diwan.

The Public Prosecution gave orders to arrest the suspect after the Amiri Diwan and some of its employees filed five complaints against her.

The suspect is being sued under the law governing the audio-visual media which bans defamation.
