Kuwaiti Woman Insults Military Officer
The Public Prosecution Department has detained a Kuwaiti woman for insulting and threatening a military officer after she recorded the event without authorization. The woman allegedly parked her car at a location in Mansouriyah Area deliberately to obstruct traffic flow at the expense of other road users, and she ignored orders from security officers to remove the car. Head of the patrol team forced the woman to stop at Abdullah Al- Salem Area and asked her to show identification and driver’s license. It was at that point she started abusing and threatening the officers, and went ahead to record the incident.
Suspect arrested: The Jahra police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti and sent him for interrogation at the area police station, reports Al-Rai daily. It has been reported, this happened during an inspection tour in the area. The police suspected the motorist and told him to pull over for customary inspection of the vehicle. The suspect, however, attempted to escape but he was pursued and arrested although he attempted to assault the men in uniform. When police checked his vehicle, they found with him drug consuming tools and some kind of substance believed to be drugs.
Fraudster nabbed: The Farwaniya police have arrested a Syrian who was wanted in connection with seven counts of fraud, reports Al-Anba daily. According to the security sources, the suspect attempted to avoid and escape a security check at an unidentified location. When he was told to pull over, he pressed on the gas pedal and attempted to escape but he was chased and arrested by the police.
