Kuwaiti Woman Died While Her Husband And Son Escaped When Fire Broke Out In House

A Kuwaiti woman died while her husband and son sustained burns when fire broke out in their house in Thaher area at around 3:30 am on Thursday.

According to a press release issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), when the Control Room of KFSD received information about the house in fire, they rushed to the location and discovered that the fire broke out in the living hall on the ground floor of the two-storied house and spread throughout the ground floor.

After the tenants were rescued, it was discovered that one of them – a Kuwaiti woman – had died, and her husband and son sustained burns of various degrees. Paramedics referred the injured victims to the nearest hospital for treatment.

The corpse of the deceased was referred to the Forensics Department. Meanwhile, firefighters extinguished the fire and launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
