Kuwaiti Wanted In Kd 50,000 Worth 11 Fraud Cases Arrested

 A Kuwaiti citizen and an Iranian expatriate in their 30s respectively were apprehended by Ahmadi patrolmen at a security checkpoint in Mahboula area in possession of 58 pills of Larika. A security source said the two suspects hid the pills a cap to evade detection but they were arrested and referred with the items to Drug Prosecution.

Wanted man held: Officers from Shuwaikh Police Station arrested a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for theft and financial fraud cases, reports Al-Rai daily. According to sources, the officers were patrolling at night when they suspected a man and stopped him to check his ID. Since he did not have any identification document on him, they checked his details by scanning his fingerprint and discovered he is a Kuwaiti who is wanted by law for stealing a car 12 years ago from Salmiya area, and for his involvement in 11 financial fraud cases worth KD 50,000. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Wanted Indian arrested: An Indian man wanted by law was arrested in Hawalli area after his vain attempt to escape on foot upon sighting security operatives. A security source said the man was evading a jail sentence and he tried to escape when he saw a patrol car, indicating the patrolmen were prompted to chase him due to his behavior and they discovered he was wanted by law after checking his details on computer. He has since been referred to the concerned authority.

Items worth KD 1,500 stolen: Representative of a telecommunication company in Jleeb Shuyoukh lodged a complaint against a sales man who stole telephone recharge cards and mobile phones with accessories worth KD 1,500. The officer provided details of the suspect and said he run away with the aforementioned items. His details have been to security checkpoints.
