A Ministry of Services assistant undersecretary is under investigation over corruption charges, according to Kuwait Times.

The Public Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) referred him, along with other suspects, to the public prosecution to face charges, the authority’s official spokesperson Dr Mohammed Abdul Rahman Bu Zobar said.

Minister of State for Services Jenan Bushehri reported the case after a special committee found that stamps worth KD1,236,316 were missing.

The special committee was set up by the minister to conduct an inventory of postal stamps
