Kuwaiti Polygamists Are Described In Sharia

Dr. Fahd Al-Dhaen, Director of the Ministry of Justice's Sharia Documentation Department, estimated a 16.5 percent increase in Kuwaiti marriages in 2021, with 11,363 couples marrying, an increase of 1,882 marriages over 2020.

According to Al-Dhaen, 94 Kuwaitis are married to four wives, 700 to three wives, and over 11,000 men are married to two spouses.

According to statistics, the first five years of marriage are the most dangerous, because the spouses must reach an agreement during this time.
