Kuwaiti Passenger Arrested At Kochin Airport With Gold Worth 2 Crore

In a major gold haul at the Kochin Internatioanl Airport in Kerala, two passengers coming from Kuwait arrested with five and a half kilograms of gold worth Rs two crore.

According to reports, the gold was concealed in the handle portion of dumbbells in the check-in baggages of the passengers. The passengers are identified as Deshmukh and Ahmad Sheikh both hails from Kadappa district in Andhra Pradesh. According to customs officials, both landed at Kochin airport from Kuwait.
