Kuwaiti Mother, Daughter Assaulted In Paris

A Kuwaiti woman and her daughter have reportedly been assaulted in Paris, France. A group of French men attacked them and removed their headscarves (hijab) by force and fled while chanting anti-Arab and anti-Muslim slogans. The woman was taken to a hospital in France and is receiving treatment at Kuwaiti Government’s expense.

“We were walking in the street when a group of French youngsters blocked our way and started shouting anti-Arab slogans before removing our hijabs,” the mother told . The two women shouted for help before heading to the nearest police station and lodging a complaint.

The police have reportedly launched an inquiry into the incident to identify the assaulters.
