Kuwaiti Holds Domestic Helper Against Her Will

An unidentified domestic helper has been referred to the deportation center and the Kuwaiti who allegedly held her captive against her will following a dispute between them has been arrested and referred to the security authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the security sources, the domestic worker had run away from her sponsor and an absconding complaint was filed against her and in violation of the law she was working for others on daily wages.

When the Kuwaiti detained her in her house she called the authorities and she was rescued and referred to the deportation center.

In the meantime a case has been filed against the Kuwaiti for illegally detaining a worker and hiring a domestic worker in violation of a law.
