Kuwaiti Held For Impersonating Police And Robbing Pedestrians

The security authorities have detained for interrogation an unidentified 40-year-old Kuwaiti for impersonating police and robbing pedestrians, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the police suspected the man because his vehicle had no number plates and when told to pull over he attempted to escape but the securitymen managed to force him to stop and arrested him. Inside his car police found a blue flasher used by police, a pair of handcuffs and an unlicensed pistol. During initial investigation, he admitted to impersonating detectives and robbing expatriates at gunpoint.
